WhatsApp is Increasing Group Video Call to 50 People
WhatsApp, the world’s largest mobile messaging app, is soon going to increase the number of people in a video call to 50. According to WhatsApp Beta Info, the beta version of WhatsApp has seen a new option that looks like the messaging app is going to increase the number of people in video calls to 50 very soon. At present 8 people can be part of a group video call which is a much smaller number than other apps. Earlier in the day, WhatsApp had increased the number of people in video calls from 4 to 8. The mobile application said that for group video calls, go to a group chat and click on the call icon or manually add additional people. It is further mentioned that you have to add people one by one.
Competition With Zoom
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, hinted at the launch of Messenger Rooms, the new video chat service for the Zoom competition, in April this year, with support on WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook portal devices. It would do and it looks like it will happen very soon. WhatsApp Beta Info said it is not yet clear when the option will be available in the WhatsApp. While menus appear in the files installed for the latest beta release, but they are not yet functional and interconnected.
